I had the privilege of being Erik and Melissa’s photographer for their wedding day. They chose a wonderful location in Tucson Arizona, it was a quirky event, with a definite drum theme (Erik, Melissa and the priest were all drummers!) a great time was had by all. You can read here, more about Erik Truelove: the worlds most accurate drummer
The ceremony was set for sunset, which had it’s own challenges, and by the time they came out for the first dance, it was pitch black!
Luckily for me, my wonderful wife was my photography assistant for the duration of the wedding. She worked her socks off positioning the off camera strobe lights as I setup for each shot.
The light at the time of the actual marriage ceremony was thankfully just enough to get some nice images, albeit at a rather grainy 1600iso.
